    Life Through THE Light
Jesus is the true light of the world. He came down to Earth to be THE light in the darkness of sin. As the wise-men followed the light of the star, we follow the light of Christ

    Unlikely Heroes: Joseph
Joseph is an unlikely hero because he is plunged into a difficult situation that looks bleak and hopeless. He and Mary will be subject to shame and disgrace. How could God be at work for good when things didn’t look good? And yet God’s promise held true – and Joseph trusted the Lord and stood by Mary as they fulfilled God’s plan for their lives.

    Unlikely Heroes: Zechariah’s Story

Zechariah is an unlikely hero because he wrestles with doubt. Even as he stands before the altar of the Lord, he cannot grasp God’s power. He cannot believe that God would do the miraculous, or that God would involve him and his wife in this way. And so he is unable to speak for a time. All Christians struggle with doubt at times over how God could use us in his redemption story. Yet God gives us evidence that He is ultimately in control.

    Unlikely Heroes: Elizabeth’s Story

Elizabeth is an unlikely hero because she is so old. She feels that her time has passed, and that God cannot use her any longer. As her story is about to come to a close, God suddenly intervenes and writes a whole new chapter – the greatest chapter yet! How amazing is God who uses us even when we think we are unusable or that our time has passed. God is the Lord of our past and future.

    Unlikely Heroes: Mary’s Story
Mary is an unlikely hero because she is so young. She is inexperienced, in every way, and yet is pulled into God’s amazing salvation story. In response to God’s grace, she demonstrates trust and submission to God’s will.
