City Serve has changed a little this year but you can still serve your neighbor.  This year we are focused on providing care packages.

What is a Care Package?

It is a box of food to help someone make it another week during this trying time. With the new government mandates, we are looking for cash donations to provide food banks and other similar organizations with the ability to provide for those in need.

How much does a Care Package cost?

A care package will have about $20 worth of food. You can sponsor a box by donating $20 and designating it for a Care Package.

How can I help?

Well we’re glad you asked.  City Serve is looking to collect monetary donations in order to make these care packages to deliver to those in need.

When is the final date I can donate?

May 15th is the final date that City Serve will be accepting cash donations. Please mail all donations to Our Savior Lutheran Church 7910 E. St. Joe Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917. If you are writing a check, please make it out to Our Savior Lutheran Church with the Memo directed towards City Serve. You can also donate online at oursaviorlansing.org/giving

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
