    Unlikely Heroes: Joseph
Joseph is an unlikely hero because he is plunged into a difficult situation that looks bleak and hopeless. He and Mary will be subject to shame and disgrace. Unlikely Heroes: Zechariah’s Story

Zechariah is an unlikely hero because he wrestles with doubt. Even as he stands before the altar of the Lord, he cannot grasp God’s power. He cannot believe that God would do the miraculous, or that God would involve him and his wife in this way. And so he is unable to speak for a time. All Christians struggle with doubt at times over how God could use us in his redemption story. Yet God gives us evidence that He is ultimately in control.

    More Will Never Be Enough
How do we find contentment? Despite having more stuff than any other society, we are still on a quest for more. What if our dissatisfaction over what we have is actually a clue that we are made for something more?

Using the Temporary to Serve the Eternal
He who dies with the most stuff…still dies. Our materialistic culture is focused on accumulating stuff. The problem is not with stuff, but with our hearts. How can we treasure what matters most?

“Spiritual Growth Campaign: Roll the Dice”
Truly experiencing life in Christ requires some element of risk, adventure, and challenge. Jesus never suggested this would be easy. We are trained to seek what is comfortable, but God calls us to an adventurous partnership for the sake of the Gospel.
