Advent at Our Savior
Advent is a time of preparation. We prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. We prepare for events, get togethers, and so often our focus gets pulled from the manger that we are looking towards to other things in the world.

The Advent wreath is a great piece for devotional purposes, reminding us to slow down, and to remind us of what we are in need of, not just during Advent, but always. The Four candles represent Hope, Peace, Joy, & Love. The hope that we have through faith in Jesus. The peace that comes from Jesus. The joy that fills our hearts because of Jesus. The Love that God showed in sending Jesus. May this Advent season be focused on what Jesus has done, is doing, and will do in our lives.
