Application for Baptism of Infant/Child
Those desiring to have their infant/child baptized at Our Savior are asked to fill out the following form. All fields are required. You will then be contacted by the church office to set up an appointment to discuss baptism with Pastor Wangelin. To read more about what we believe concerning Baptism, click here. 1. We desire Holy Baptism for our child because we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of the World, ordained Holy Baptism for our salvation.
2. We believe the Holy Scriptures which declares that by baptism our children enter into a covenant with the Triune God.
3. We desire that our child remain a member of the Kingdom of Christ, both here on earth and throughout eternity.
4. To this end, we pledge ourselves to give our child a Christian education
5. It is our purpose to assume all the responsibilities of godly parents, to provide a HOME program which will be conducive to our child’s spiritual welfare.
6. We desire that our child when age appropriate join the Sunday School, and later join the confirmation class sponsored by the church.
