Come join us for CityServe on Saturday, June 3rd, as we give back to our community!
Jesus tells us that whatever we do for the least of these, we do for Him. This event is an opportunity to serve Jesus in our neighbor and reflect the love of God to our city.
Volunteers will meet at Trinity Lutheran Church at 501 West Saginaw in the morning before they disperse to work sites for the day throughout the city. Potential site jobs include painting, weeding, general clean-up, and more. Volunteers must be at least 12 and accompanied by an adult if between the ages of 12 and 15.
We will also have a brief meeting for all volunteers at Trinity on the evening of May 31st to prepare for the event and meet our work-teams.
There is a $5 fee per person or maximum $15 fee per family to defray the cost of meals (a light breakfast, lunch, and supper). Money can be brought to the Our Savior church office during the week, to the meeting on May 31st, or to the event itself.
To volunteer as a laborer, please RSVP here. If you wish to contribute to the event in a way besides physical labor, contact Vicar Hatesohl at the info below: meal coordinators and other volunteers are needed!
We hope you can join us on June 3rd!
For questions about the event or to submit a personal project for consideration contact Andy Hatesohl, Vicar, at 517-882-8665 ext. 308.
